Subsequent to facing not-so-expected results in the last two fixtures with Kerala Blasters and Chennaiyin FC, FC Pune City have roped in two foreigners in the second International Transfer Window of the AIFF starting from January 15 till February 15th.

Spaniard Manuel Jesus Ortiz Toribio joined the ranks of Pune City as a Centre Back to strengthen the sluggish looking defence. Nicknamed as “Lolo”, Toribio has lived an illustrious career in La Liga, majorly in the outfits of Sevilla, Osasuna, Zaragoza and Elche before he signed for Hercules last season as a Free Agent. Lolo has replaced the Croatian defender Damir Grgic.

Another player who found the job is the ex-Austrian International Marko Stankovic, who’ll give Ranko Popovic’s side the much needed balance in the midfield. Stankovic is mostly known for his stint with the Austrian Premier League club Austria Wien and SV Reid. The 31-year old joined FCPC as a free agent from SV Reid after making nine appearances for them. Stankovic has replaced Robertino Pugliara.
