Bengaluru FC’s most successful foreigner this season Edu Garcia has made a successful transfer to the Chinese League One club Zhejiang Greentown F.C. This deal makes Bengaluru FC the first ever Indian club to have earned on a player transfer. Even though there are numerous speculations throughout Indian media, but as we hear the whispers from the Chinese media, the transfer amount is approximately 3,18,000 Chinese Yuan(INR 3,30,0000).

Edu came to India in September on a season-long deal with Bengaluru FC for their maiden ISL season. The former Zaragoza man became an instant hit in the Bengaluru outfit and became the first goalscorer for the current league leaders. Edu is best known for the lethal set pieces and has assisted four times during his ISL expedition.

According to BFC Media, the negotiations with the club took close to two weeks before the deal reached conclusion yesterday. It’s only four more days for the Chinese Transfer Window to close and the former Chinese Super League side is determined to win a promotion into the World’s One of the Richest leagues.
