ISL Schedules Out, Kolkata Gets A Consolation

Indian Super League schedule for the 2018/19 season has been announced today in Kolkata until the mid season break which will feature 12 roundups in which 59 matches will be played between the 10 participating clubs. 


The event has put a full stop to all the talks going in the media concerning the two Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan and East Bengal switching from I-League to the Indian Super League. The fifth edition of Hero ISL will commence with a new look ATK – a two time champion, renewing its seasonal rivalry against Kerala Blasters FC on Saturday, 29th September at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium).

The following Super Sunday promises to be an equally enthralling game night in the South, pitting last season’s runners-up Bengaluru FC against Champions Chennaiyin FC, on 30th September at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru.


Upcoming season will have three breaks, two for FIFA windows (8th -16th October 2018 / 12th – 20th November 2018), and one, starting from 17th December 2018 for the Indian national team’s preparatory camp ahead of the AFC Asian Cup in UAE.
