This United Superstar Missed Out On The Balon d'Or Nomination

After showing his heroics on the pitch just a couple of days ago, Manchester United’s posterboy, David de Gea has missed out on the nominations of the 2018 Balon d’Or award. The Spaniard was fortunate to have made it into the FIFPro World XI last month but would surely be disappointed this time around.

Former PL goalie, Thibaut Courtois was included in the list, and why not, for he had a successful World Cup with the Golden Glove Award on his name, fair Chelsea season and most of all, the Belgian earned a move to Real Madrid recently.

Looks pretty disappointing for a United fan, but holistically, it's justified for De Gea had won nothing major with United or came even closer to anything, while he had a forgettable World Cup with La Roja.
