After securing a point from a hard fought home fixture against Chennaiyin, Delhi Dynamos’ head coach Josep Gombau criticises ISL for the “horrendous” match schedule in the next bunch of days to come. Gombau appreciates that his squad is happy and working hard for each challenge coming their way, but the schedule they’re handed is crazy for the players and the club. Its noteworthy that  Delhi Dynamos has four fixtures to play in the space of 12 days.

Delhi will play Mumbai and Goa in Away fixtures, while they host Northeast United and Jamshedpur FC at home. It’s really challenging schedule for the club, while the rest of the league will enjoy a relaxed schedule before the festive break. Well, it’s better the Delhi boys work their way to turn things around rather than complaining about something they can’t do about. Can they?
