United boss Jose Mourinho is facing a roller coaster ride in his Old Trafford tenure. After his side’s back-to-back straightened performances, Mourinho’s job has been saved, at least for the time being but “The Controversial One” may now have to face the touchline ban. Thanks to his disciplinary regulations infringement, Mourinho has been charged by FA after the three judges panel at the club had already contested the original charges.

The FA claimed that Mourinho swore in Portuguese to a television camera as he walked off the pitch following a 3-2 win over Newcastle on 6 October. The FA's appeal comes after considering the written reasons of the Independent Regulatory Commission inquiry. A TV camera filmed the Portuguese appearing to say something, and make a gesture with his right hand, as he walked off the pitch following his side's win over the Magpies.
