Report: East Bengal vanquished Bengaluru 3-1 in a one sided fixture

Kingfisher East Bengal outplayed Bengaluru FC 3-1 at Kanteerava Stadium,Bengaluru tonight and climbed to the pole position of the league with 24 points from 11 matches. This was the defending champions’ highest margin of defeat at home. 


East Bengal opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Wedson while Robin Singh added braces in the 54th and 59th minutes. CK Vineeth however reduced the margin for the hosts in the 84th minute but couldn't restrain an embarrassing defeat in front of the home crowd. Harmanjot Khabra,Sunil Chhetri and CK Vineeth were the three players booked in the match.
