Ahead of Aizawl’s final roundup to claim their maiden title in the National Football League, their counterpart from Indian Super League, North East United has laid out an emotional letter to the club congratulating them for the unprecedented success they’re poised to mark. The letter was directly marked to the club having the seals of JA Football Pv. Ltd, the parent company of North East United.

While everyone at Aizawl are waiting for the final confirmation, i.e. after the match gets over, the flurry of “Congratulations” have already started flowing in.

“The club has got everything hats needed to be called the Winners but don't want to lose on modesty”, said Khalid Jamil, the coach who had been sacked by the relegated Mumbai FC at the start of this season. It’s been a wonderful display of football from the highlanders as they ensured not to lose out on points at home, while they snatched away points from the Lion’s teeth in these four months.

Novy Kapadia, the renowned Author and Commentator for Ten Sports had already declared Aizawl to be the victors for the 2017 season while commenting on Television in the 16th Roundup. Even Aizawl has started receiving fan tweets and Facebook posts from Pan-India.

The club President Robert Romawia Royte told Jersey that this is only the beginning of the new generation of Football. He added, The club is at par with the all the other big clubs in the country and we’re all set to feed India with more talents.

Here’s the official letter that North East United has posted on Social Media:
