Manchester United legend Wes Brown signs to play in ISL

Kerala Blasters have completed the signing of ex-Manchester United and Sunderland defender Wes Brown today. Wes has been an important member in the Alex Ferguson’s United, who has won seven major trophies with the Reds including five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three Community Shields and the Champions League trophy twice. 



Talks with Dimitar Berbatov seems to be taking a zig-zag as the Bulgarian striker’s wages demand are going steep, though Blasters’ management assures that a consensus is close to agreement has reached and the announcement to land him to Kerala may be made any moment. 



Kerala Blasters has already confirmed the signing of the 37-year old ex-England International on Twitter today. It’s believed that the arrival of Kerala’s head coach Rene Meulensteen has opened doors for the United legends to make their mark in India. Both Berbatov and Brown have been coached by Rene in the Ferguson era. This indicate towards a lot of moments that India should gear up to see once the newest ISL season commences. 

Brown, in his 20 year long career has hopped to different clubs namely United, Sunderland and Blackburn. He’s even walked with the national side in as many as 23 matches and became one of the most important members in the team, though announced retirement after not making into the 2010 World Cup team in South Africa. 



Well, with the landing of Brown, Kerala Blasters have now automatically elevated to become the Title Contenders for the season!
