The young boy who set the wings on fire for Chennai City FC last season in the I-League, has joined the ISL outfit Delhi Dynamos FC for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League. Nandha will be joining the Lions on a loan deal which will last the entirety of the ISL season.

Nandha was given his first start towards the halfway point in the season under coach Soundarrajan. After impressing the coach on his debut, he became a regular for the team at just the age of 21. His amazing performances in the I-League earned him a call up to the Indian U-23 squad where he featured in 5 games for the Indian National team. Nandha played on the right wing for Chennai City FC and managed to score 2 goals in the 6 games that he featured for the Chennai based outlet.

This move comes as a surprise to most of the Chennai City FC fans as Nandha looked like he was going to be central to the plans for the seasons to come. Nandha packs a lot of potential in him and with the I-League becoming less important in the country, ISL seems to be taking centre stage and a player cannot be blamed for wanting the make the switch from the I-League to the ISL.

The I-league clubs will slowly become feeder clubs for these ISL teams if the AIFF does not come to a conclusion with these two leagues. As for Nandha, playing in Delhi will be quite a challenge and Jersey wishes him for the upcoming season!
