Ranbir Kapoor presents Tag Heuer Mumbai City FC edition watches to Amrinder and Co.

What is common between Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan, apart from their professions? The two share their love for sports - own giant teams in the country’s biggest sports leagues - the ISL and the IPL (respectively), and yes one more common ground between the two hotshots is the fact that they share a common brand endorsement contract with Tag Heuer.

The luxury watch brand from Switzerland recently launched their latest limited addition watch in association with Ranbir Kapoor’s Indian Super League franchise, Mumbai City FC. Kapoor was seen presenting one of the first watches to his team’s shot stopper, Amarinder Singh during the launch event. Apparently the whispers state that all team members on the team’s roster have received a watch each from the boss man, as a part of the endorsement deal.

Tag Heuer has ties with a number of global stars and sporting teams – twenty time Premier League winners, Manchester United being one of the most popular ones. Big time boxing veteran Muhammad Ali, Burussia Dortmund starlet Shinji Kagawa, and three time FIFA Ballon d’Or Award winner Cristiano Ronaldo, Mats Hummels are only a few names on the list of brand ambassadors on the watch makers’ database.

Certainly a great day at the office if you’re a squad member at Mumbai City FC, eh?
