Mohun Bagan has won the Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup after they beat Customs Club today by a lone goal scored by Kromah played at at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok. With this win, Bagan has added to their total tally of the cup to make it 10. This indeed brings a sense of joy among the club supporters after they missed out on the I-League and CFL trophies by inches.

Bagan had a brilliant campaign as they went unbeaten throughout the tournament. The final however was not an easy one as the coach Shankarlal Chakraborty foresaw, but an early goal from the Liberian helped the eventual Champions to exert enough pressure on the Customs.

Ansumana Kromah was lated adjudged as the Man of the Match, while his team proudly claimed the Trophy for the 10th time in history.
