FIFA's documentary on East Bengal FC to be released in April next year

Right after the successful conclusion of FIFA U-17 World Cup in India, FIFA has decided to do a documentary on East Bengal Club as the entity happens to be the most successful football club in the country and the biggest in terms of fanbase within and outside India. 


On his recent visit to India, FIFA Prez Giovanni Infitano appreciated India’s efforts to uprising the status of football in the country and insisted that India is on the right pathway to become a global footballing superpower. Infitano also said that FIFA and Indian government are working together to make India the epicentre of Asian football. 


Continuing to their efforts, Paul Budimir Executive Producer FIFA TV and his cameraman visited East Bengal Club to film a documentary of the club.They praised the infrastructure and filmed the club's youth development. They interviewed Dr Pranab Das Gupta (President),Mr Kalyan Majumdar (General Secretary),Arnab Mondal (Captain) and Ranjan Chaudhuri(Academy Coach).



The expected release date of the documentary is unknown as of now, but our sources confirmed that the release plan is to in the mid of March next year.
